Talk to your whole crew.
Dictate into any pane or talk to a co-pilot that sees every agent and acts. Local dictation, offline voices and a free-first brain.
Limewisp needs JavaScript for its interactive parts. The pages below work without it.
Questions
- Is it really free?
- Local voice, dictation on models that run on your machine, is part of every plan and needs no key. The assistant, the voice co-pilot, is part of Pro. Its brain can be a free Gemini key, local Ollama, or free tiers from Groq, Cerebras and OpenRouter. Claude or Codex only if you choose them.
- Does my voice leave my computer?
- Dictation and the wake word run on your device. If you pick a cloud brain or an online voice, the text of the reply or the line to speak goes to that provider, not your microphone audio. The Windows Voice Typing fallback engine is Microsoft's online service. Local Ollama plus Kokoro or Piper keeps everything on your machine.
- Can it do things, or only talk?
- It can act: start and manage panes and sessions, send prompts, interrupt or restart an agent, hand work to another account, and use the PC (apps, windows, media, timers, files, web, shell). Destructive actions and shell commands ask for a yes first.
- Which languages work?
- It depends on the model. Whisper covers about 99 languages, Parakeet v3 25 European ones, and the English-only models English.
- Does it work on macOS and Linux?
- The assistant and the offline voices are in every build, but the local speech engine installs itself on Windows only for now. On macOS and Linux you need a whisper.cpp build on your PATH for dictation, and Windows Voice Typing is Windows only.
- Are the samples on this page the real voices?
- No. The play buttons use your browser's built-in speech as a stand-in preview. The real Kokoro, Piper and online voices are in the app.
